Say It With Flowers -Year 1, Art & Science, Stay & Learn  Afternoon.

We would like to thank all the adults that attended our Year 1, Stay & Learn - Say it With Flowers.

A local Florist, Caitlin Chrystal form The Garden Shed, very kindly visited the Year 1 Stay & Learn

afternoon to assist the children and their adults in creating small collages, using real flower petals.

The children had a lovely time choosing their flowers and decorating their vases for their parents.

Thank you to the parents, carers and other visitors of Year 1 for the continued support you give the children and the school.

We also want to give a special thank you to Caitlin for providing her time and the materials for the productive afternoon. 

We all had a lovely Community Links - Stay and Learn afternoon. 

All the mini flower mosaics the children created were put together by the Caitlin from the Garden Shed. - (Photo will be added shortly)

After the first task, the children went on to create their own vases of flowers using paper, card and fresh flowers. Many children were assisted by the adults that attended the Stay and Learn session.  All the children, parents, grandparents, carers  and staff had a wonderful afternoon.
