Welcome to our summer term!

This term we will be travelling back in time to Ancient Egypt!

In history, we are learning about life in Ancient Egypt, how they lived and the pharaohs who ruled over the land.

In geography, we are learning all about the country of Egypt, the River Nile and the landscape of Egypt.

In English, we will be reading lots of fiction and non-fiction books. We begin with 'The Egyptian Cinderella' and move on to many non-fiction books on Howard Carter, the famous archeologist who discovered Tutankhamun's tomb. 

In maths, we are continuing our work on measurements and then we are moving on to learning about time and money.

Important Information

PE Day - PE will be on a Tuesday morning. Children should come to school in the correct coloured PE kit. 

Homework - Please ensure the tasks on the homework sheet are completed throughout this term. The homework sheet will be sent home in the first week back after the Easter holidays. Please let the teachers know if you need a new sheet.
